Meet Cliff, Retail Experience Manager at Kitsap Credit Union

Cliff has been a dedicated member of the Kitsap Credit Union team for 14 years, bringing a wealth of experience and insight to his role as Retail Experience Manager. Throughout his time at KCU, Cliff has played an important role in shaping the member and employee experience—helping teams work more efficiently while keeping members at the center of everything we do.

Cliff’s journey at KCU is a true reflection of growth and opportunity. He began as a Student Intern before transitioning into a part-time role at our previous Bainbridge Island branch. From there, he continued to build his career across multiple areas of the organization, including branch roles at East Bremerton and Highlands, the Contact Center as an Online Representative, and positions supporting Business Services and Branch Operations. Each step along the way has helped him develop a deep understanding of how the credit union operates, knowledge he now brings into his current leadership role.

“I enjoy being able to drive meaningful change—especially improving core programs and removing barriers so our teams can better serve our members,” Cliff shared. His work focuses on strengthening processes, supporting teams, and ensuring that improvements are both practical and impactful.

Cliff’s contributions have not gone unnoticed by his peers. As Contact Center Team Lead Rachael Strong shared, “Cliff has worked hard to build an impressive career within the credit union, gaining a huge array of skills and experience along the way. His deep knowledge makes him a go-to resource for a large number of employees across the organization. Many people rely on him not only for answers, but for insight, problem-solving, and guidance.”

She added, “Cliff has played a key role in numerous projects, process improvements, and organizational changes, consistently contributing thoughtful ideas and practical solutions. He has a strong ability to connect the big picture with the day-to-day details, which has helped ensure improvements are both effective and sustainable.”

In his current role, Cliff continues to make an impact, bringing confidence, adaptability, and a commitment to doing things the right way. “The collaboration and camaraderie at KCU are truly top-notch,” he shared. “There’s a strong sense of teamwork and shared purpose across the organization.”

Cliff’s willingness to support others, share knowledge, and step up when needed makes him an invaluable part of the KCU team. As he continues to grow in his role, we’re grateful for the experience, leadership, and perspective he brings to our organization every day.
