Contact Center Lending Specialist, Jennifer, Celebrates 5 Years

Please join us in celebrating Jennifer Butler and her journey with Kitsap Credit Union as she marks her 5-year anniversary! Over the past five years, Jennifer has grown from a Contact Center Representative into a key member of our Contact Center Lending Team. Along the way, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to serving members, building meaningful connections, and delivering thoughtful financial guidance that supports our members’ goals.

We asked Jennifer a few questions about her time at Kitsap Credit Union. Here’s what she shared:

When asked what brought her to KCU, Jennifer highlighted her desire to be part of an organization that puts people first. She was drawn to the credit union’s member-first philosophy and valued the opportunity to work for a local organization that is deeply connected to the community. From the beginning, she knew KCU aligned with both her professional goals and personal values.

Jennifer’s journey at KCU reflects her dedication to growth and service. She began as a Contact Center Representative, where she built a strong foundation in member support, and later became a Specialist. In the past year, she transitioned to the Contact Center Lending Team, where she now focuses on helping members uncover financial needs and guiding them through the loan process. In this role, she continues to make a meaningful impact by providing personalized support and helping members take confident steps toward their financial goals.

Reflecting on her favorite memories, Jennifer shared how valuable it has been to connect with colleagues beyond the virtual workspace. After working remotely, attending in-person events gave her the opportunity to put faces to names and strengthen relationships with her teammates. These moments of connection, along with KCU’s commitment to creating opportunities for employees to come together, have made her experience even more rewarding.

Jennifer also expressed appreciation for the supportive environment at Kitsap Credit Union. She shared that she feels encouraged and supported by her Team Lead and enjoys being part of a workplace where collaboration, care, and growth are prioritized, "I love working here," Jennifer said. "I’m so grateful to have a job I look forward to every day."
