Contact Center Lending Manager, Dustin, Celebrates 5 Years

Over the past five years, Dustin has built a meaningful career grounded in purpose, leadership, and a commitment to putting people first. Inspired by KCU’s member-first philosophy, he has led high-performing teams and now focuses his expertise on lending—helping members find thoughtful, personalized financial solutions that make a lasting difference.

We asked Dustin a few questions about his time here at Kitsap Credit Union. Here’s what he shared:

When asked what brought him to Kitsap Credit Union, Dustin shared how his professional experiences shaped his decision to join an organization centered on people. “I was drawn to Kitsap Credit Union after spending several years working in high-risk lending environments. During that time, I realized I wanted to be part of an organization that prioritizes people over profits. KCU’s member-first philosophy and genuine care for both its members and employees aligned perfectly with what I was seeking. I wanted to be in a position where I could help individuals find meaningful financial solutions—not simply provide loans but truly make a positive difference in their financial well-being.”

Since joining KCU, Dustin has taken on a variety of leadership roles, each one expanding his impact across the organization. He began his journey at KCU by managing our Belfair branch, followed by managing our East Bremerton location. Now, as the Contact Center Lending Manager, Dustin has been able to refocus on lending as his primary area of impact, "I feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside such a talented, dedicated, and hardworking group of individuals who consistently strive to deliver exceptional results for our members,” he said.

Reflecting on his time at KCU, Dustin shared that both the relationships he’s built and the moments of connection have made his experience especially meaningful. “From the daily camaraderie, laughter, and shared experiences with colleagues, to larger events like the Rainiers family outing, these experiences have made a lasting impact," said Dustin. "Most meaningful of all, however, has been watching my team help members achieve their financial goals through thoughtful guidance and personalized support. Seeing the positive difference we make in our members’ lives is truly rewarding.”

Dustin also expressed appreciation for the culture and values that continue to define Kitsap Credit Union, “I feel genuinely privileged to work for an organization that prioritizes the well-being of its employees and fosters such a strong, positive culture. The sense of community at KCU is something special and increasingly rare in today’s workplace. Even as we continue to grow, we have remained true to our values and maintained our ‘heart.’ I take great pride in being part of this organization and am proud to share where I work—it’s a truly meaningful experience.”
