Card Operations Supervisor, Tricia, Celebrates 10 Years
Please join us in celebrating Tricia Powell and her journey with Kitsap Credit Union! Over the past decade, Tricia has built a meaningful career rooted in service, growth, and connection, and we’re grateful to have her as part of the KCU team.
We asked Tricia a few questions about her time here at Kitsap Credit Union. Here’s what she shared:
When asked what brought her to Kitsap Credit Union, Tricia reflected on how both her personal and professional journeys led her here.
“I came to Kitsap Credit Union about a year after the birth of our daughter, when my husband was stationed here during his military service. At the time, Washington wasn’t somewhere I imagined calling home, but over the past 10 years, it’s truly become just that. After my husband retired from the military, we decided this is where we want to stay, and we’re proud to call it our forever home.”
Before joining KCU, Tricia began her career in financial services at Navy Federal Credit Union, where she developed a strong foundation in member support.
“That experience helped shape my understanding of how important accuracy, service, and teamwork are in what we do every day.”
Since joining Kitsap Credit Union, Tricia has grown into her role as a Card Operations Supervisor, where she plays an important part in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
“I’ve had the opportunity to grow into my current role as a Card Operations Supervisor. I really enjoy working on ways to improve our processes, support our team, and collaborate with different departments and vendors.”
Reflecting on her time at KCU, Tricia shared that the people she works with have made the biggest impact on her experience.
“One of my favorite parts of working at Kitsap Credit Union has been the people. I’ve been fortunate to work alongside so many amazing coworkers over the years, and those relationships and shared experiences are what have made my time here so meaningful.”
