At Kitsap Credit Union, being member-owned means more than where you keep your money. It means being part of a cooperative that puts people and communities first. On Thursday, October 15, we’ll celebrate that shared spirit on International Credit Union Day.
International Credit Union Day is a time for credit unions around the world to celebrate the cooperative movement, recognize their members, and reflect on the difference credit unions make in the communities they serve. It’s been celebrated on the third Thursday of October since 1948.
A Steady Signal in a Noisy World
This year’s theme is “Cooperative Finance: A Steady Signal in a Noisy World.” It highlights the steady, member-focused approach credit unions bring to financial services, especially when the world of money feels anything but steady.
For KCU, that cooperative spirit has been part of who we are since 1934. As a member-owned financial cooperative, we serve our members and invest in the communities we call home.
