    • Do you offer a notary service?

      Yes! Notary services are free for KCU members at any of our branch locations. We recommend making an appointment prior to visiting a branch for a notary service. You can request an appointment here: Appointment Request

      We are unable to provide notary services to non-members at this time. 

      Please bring a photo ID when you visit the branch for notary services.

    • How do I send or receive wire transfers?

      We offer our members the service of processing domestic wire transfers. You may request a wire transfer in person at any of our branch locations or through our secure chat feature while you are logged into your online banking account.

      To access secure chat:
      In online banking, click Support in the top right, then Chat Now.

      In mobile banking, select the More menu, then Secure Chat.

      Incoming and outgoing wire transfers are subject to the current fee as published on our Rate and Fee Schedule.

      • For incoming wires, provide the sender with your direct deposit information.
      • For outgoing wires, ask your recipient for the wire instructions from their financial institution. We need your recipient’s name, their financial institution’s routing number, address, their account number, and any additional information for them to receive your wire.

    • Can you get me a copy of my credit report?

      You can obtain a free copy of your credit report at AnnualCreditReport.com. You are entitled to a free credit report annually through this website.

      Regularly review your credit report to make sure nothing appears to be out of the ordinary.

    • Do you offer a foreign currency exchange service?

      At this time, Kitsap Credit Union does not exchange foreign currency to US dollars. We apologize for the inconvenience.

      However, your debit or credit card can be used anywhere that accepts VISA. If you are traveling internationally, please contact us so we can notate your account with the best contact information while you are away from home.

      Our Rate & Fee Schedule will provide you with the Visa International Fee that will apply to international transactions.

    • Do you provide Signature Guarantee or Medallion stamp services?

      Yes, we do offer Signature Guarantee or Medallion Guarantee services at our branch locations. For the current fee for Signature Guarantee, please see our current Rate and Fee Schedule.

      To schedule an appointment for a medallion signature/signature guarantee please contact our investment services team.

    • How do I cancel my Identity Theft Protection Package subscription?

      You can cancel your subscription online or by phone. With either option, the benefits will terminate at the end of the month in which the request is made.

      Online:

      • Cancel through the subscription website. Log in to the secure Identity Care Account and cancel the benefits under the 'My Profile' tab.

      By Phone:

      • Call toll-free 1-866-SMART68 or 1-866-762-7868.

       

    • Is it possible to make deposits at other credit unions and have it credited to my accounts?

      Kitsap Credit Union does not currently participate in Shared Branching.  However, we are a part of the CO-OP ATM network that allows you to access your money almost anywhere at surcharge-free ATMs.

      The CO-OP ATM network offers tens of thousands of surcharge-free ATMs coast to coast located where you live, work and travel.
