What holidays will you be closed?
The Branches and offices for Kitsap Credit Union are closed on all federal holidays. Please see the Holiday Closures section on our Locations page for up-to-date holiday hours.

Should I make an appointment to visit a branch?
It's recommended to make an appointment if you need assistance with something other than a deposit or withdrawal transaction.
Most transactions can be done without a branch visit, and we ask that you utilize these options if at all possible. If you need to visit a branch we would encourage you to complete an Appointment Request.
Cash withdraws can be done at ATMs, or when using your debit card to make a purchase at a store.
Cash deposits can be done at select ATMs or dropping it into a deposit dropbox, just make sure to label your envelope with your name, account, and contact information.
Check deposits can be made through the Mobile Check Deposit feature in our mobile apps, at select ATMs, dropping it into a night drop box at most of our branch locations, or by mail.
Transfers can be made through our mobile app, online banking, and automated phone banking.

What can I do in the drive thru?
We are utilizing our drive thru's for most transactions including:
- Account Deposits
- Account Withdraws
- Issuing Corporate Checks (Cashiers Checks)*
- Issuing Money Orders
- Issuing instant issue debit and credit cards¹
- Ordering checks*
- Account transfers*
- Statement requests*
- Issuing temporary checks

Where is the deposit drop box located?
Most branches have a deposit drop box for any deposits or loan payments you may have.
Here are the specific locations for the night drop boxes.

Can I deposit coins?
Yes, we would be happy to accept your coins at one of our branch locations. At this time, coins are not accepted in our ATMs.
If you have a large amount of coins, we ask that they be rolled standard coin wrappers. We are happy to provide them for you at our branch locations.

Do you have coin counter machines?
We do not have coin counter machines in our branches at this time.
For large amounts of coins, we do ask that you wrap coins prior to making your deposit in a branch. No personal information should be written on the coins for your security.
You can pick up coin wrappers at any of our branch locations.

What is a shared branch network?
A shared branch network is a cooperative effort between credit unions nationwide to assist each other’s members.
Kitsap Credit Union does not currently participate in Shared Branching. However, we are a part of the CO-OP ATM network that allows you to access your money almost anywhere at surcharge-free ATMs.
The CO-OP ATM network offers tens of thousands of free ATMs coast to coast so there's always one near where you live, work and travel.
Because we are CO-OP participants you can make deposits to your accounts at other credit unions through many of our ATM's too.

Can I use Kitsap Credit Union as a shared branch?
At this time, Kitsap Credit Union does not participate in Shared Branching but many of our ATMs are part of the CO-OP Network and allow for deposits. For our ATM locations, visit our locations page.
We can help non-KCU members with some services such as issuing Corporate Checks and processing a cash advance on a credit or debit cards. These services are subject to our current fees as published on our List of Fees.
Not yet a member?
When you apply today, there is no minimum opening deposit required for your Primary Savings account.
You will also need the following information in order to complete the application:
- Government-issued ID/Driver's license/State ID or Passport with current address
- Current physical and mailing address
- Social Security Number
- Date of Birth

Can I make a deposit through an ATM?
Yes, you can! Many of our ATMs allow deposits of checks or cash. Look for the check-mark symbol for deposit-accepting ATMs when searching ATM locations on our Locations page.
And remember, because Kitsap Credit Union is a member of the CO-OP shared branch network, you can often make deposits at the ATMs of other credit unions! Find a CO-OP ATM Location today.

How much can I withdraw from an ATM in one day?
You can withdraw up to $1000 a day from an ATM. Your purchases are limited to your available account balance at the time of transaction.
Need more cash than that? Kitsap Credit Union has 14 branch locations to serve you. For our hours and locations, visit our locations page.
TIP: When you use your Kitsap Credit Union Debit Card to make a purchase you can also receive cash back! Simply select the cash back option while completing your transaction.

Are foreign ATM charges refundable, just like U.S. ATM charges?
Foreign and international ATM charges are not eligible for refunds when Gold Checking qualifications are met. For more information about the benefits of Gold Checking, click here.

How much is the fee to withdraw cash at the ATM?
If you are a member of Kitsap Credit Union, it is free to withdraw from your Kitsap Credit Union account when you use any ATM owned by Kitsap Credit Union or any CO-OP ATM.
A fee will be assessed to your account when you withdraw cash or make a transfer from any other ATM. The fee is based on our current Rate and Fee Schedule and is in addition to the fee charged by the ATM terminal you are using.

Tip: If you use your Debit card, some retailers may allow you to receive cash back when you check out. Check with each retailer for any fees they may charge for this option.

When do ATM deposits become available?
When you make a deposit, the first $225.00 of the deposit will be available immediately. The remainder of the deposit will be available by the second business day after the date of your deposit. If you make a deposit on Saturday, the next business day would be Monday.
Kitsap Credit Union has many convenient ATMs available to serve you, including many Smart ATMs. Cash deposits into a Smart ATM are available immediately. Check deposits into a Smart ATM would follow the same availability as listed above.

What do I do if the ATM does not dispense the money I asked for and the funds have been deducted from my account?
Please contact us as soon as possible so we can start the process to dispute the transaction. There are several options for you to contact us:
