Organizational Learning Specialist, Jason Celebrates 5 Years

Please join us in wishing a Happy 5 Years to Jason Faurot as he celebrates his anniversary this week! Our sincere thanks to Jason for the energy and dedication he brings to KCU. His focus on educating team members, uplifting others, and improving our credit union makes him an invaluable part of our team.

We asked Jason a few questions about his time here at Kitsap Credit Union. Here's what he shared:

Before coming to Kitsap Credit Union, Jason mentioned the industry he previously worked in didn't offer much job security, "When COVID shut everything down, I started looking for jobs that offered more stability. I had previous financial experience and knew I didn't want to work for a big bank again. I decided to try a credit union and haven't regretted that decision once!"

Starting as a Specialist at our Belfair branch, Jason now works as our Organizational Learning Specialist on our Learning and Development team.

"I made some wonderful memories helping our diverse population of members in the branches," said Jason, "Even though I haven't been member-facing for nearly 3 years, those are some of my fondest memories! Now I get to enjoy watching our amazingly talented group of employees grow and develop their skills, to continue helping KCU's membership."

Jason shared, "KCU has always supported me and helped me grow both personally and professionally. It has truly become "family" over the last 5 years!"
