Can I cancel or edit a Bill Pay payment after it's been scheduled?
Yes, as long as the payment has not already been processed. You can view scheduled payments before the send date. -
Can I pay a person instead of a company using Bill Pay?
Yes, you can send payments to both businesses and individuals using Online Bill Pay by adding them as a payee. -
How do I sign up for Online Bill Pay?
Getting started is easy. If you're not currently a Kitsap Credit Union member, you'll first need to establish membership and open a checking account with us.
Otherwise, follow these few simple steps below.
- Login into your free Kitsap Credit Union online banking account.
- Select the Payments tab, then the Bill Pay option located at the top of the page, and click "Complete Sign up" after acknowledging the Terms & Conditions.
- Use the option "Need to pay someone new?" to start adding payees.
Once your payee has been added, you will be directed back to "My Bills & People I Pay," where you can now schedule single or reoccurring payments.

How long does it take for a Bill Pay payment to arrive?
Most Online Bill Pay payments are delivered electronically or by check. Electronic payments are typically recieved faster, while mail check payments may take additional time depending on the payee's processing schedule and mailing time. -
How much does it cost to use Online Bill Pay?

How secure is Online Bill Pay?
The only way to access your Online Bill Pay is to log in to your Online Banking account with your credentials. Our Online Banking uses multifactor authentication to ensure it’s you when you log in to your account.

Is Bill Pay available in the Mobile Banking app?
Yes, Online Bill Pay is available through both Online Banking and the Kitsap Credit Union Mobile Banking app, so you can manage and schedule payments from anywhere. -
Is there a monthly fee for Online Banking and Online Bill Pay?
No. These benefits are completely free to our members!

How do I set up automatic Online Bill Payment so the payment is made every month?
From the “Payments” tab in your Online Banking account, choose the Bill Pay selection, select the biller’s name you would like automatic payments set up for, then select the "Frequency" in the "Repeats" option. You’ll be able to select the frequency of your payment, enter a start and end date, and select to receive an email notification.

- Start your journey from 'Add Biller' to start adding payees.

I made a payment through Bill Pay and it shows completed but the money hasn't been deducted from my account.
This would likely mean that the payment was sent from Bill Pay as a draft check. The funds will be debited from your account when the payee receives and deposits the check. If there has been an extended period since the bill payment was completed, please contact the recipient to confirm if they received the payment.
The Activity tab will display recent payment and selecting the payment in question, will provide more details including the delivery methods.

What do I do if I made a payment through Bill Pay, but my biller hasn’t received the payment yet?
With our bill pay system, your payment can be sent to your payee one of three ways and each take a different amount of time to be received.
The Activity tab will display recent payment and selecting the payment in question, will provide more details including the delivery method.
Bill Pay will submit the payment in time to be received by the date you selected for the pay date, however some delivery delays may happen should the payment be sent by mail.
If the recipient has not received the payment, or if you would like us to review your account for specific information, please contact us.

What is an eBill?
An eBill is a digital version of a paper bill that you can view and pay online, offering a paperless way to manage your bills. Without eBills, you'd wait for the bill to arrive by mail and then log into online banking to pay it. With eBills, you can pay as soon as it's ready and set up automatic payments to avoid overpaying.

What types of bills can I pay using Online Bill Pay?
You can use Online Bill Pay to pay a wide variety of bills, including utilities, credit cards, rent, loans, and more. If your biller accepts electronic or mailed payments, you can typically add them as payee.
