Official Rules

These Official Rules govern the Kitsap Credit Union (“KCU”) Love the Blue and Green – In‑Branch Deposit Giveaway (“Promotion”). By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. The Promotion is sponsored by Kitsap Credit Union at P.O. Box 990, Bremerton, WA 98337.

NO PURCHASE REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN. NEED NOT BE PRESENT TO WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. Eligibility. Open to individuals 18 years or older who are either current members of Kitsap Credit Union, or individuals who meet Kitsap Credit Union’s membership eligibility requirements and complete a qualifying in‑branch deposit during the Promotion Period. Kitsap Credit Union employees, volunteers, board or committee members, vendors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter or win. Immediate family includes: spouse, parents, stepparents, foster parents, in-laws, children, stepchildren, foster children, sons/daughters-in-law, grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, siblings-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and first cousins.
2. How to Enter. Participants earn one (1) entry by completing one of the following qualifying in‑branch actions:
   • Open a Peak Account or Business Checking with $1,200 new money,
   • Open a Certificate (Personal or Business) with $12,000 new money,
   • Open a Money Market or Business Money Market with $12,000 new money.

New Money Requirement. New money is defined as funds not currently held in deposit accounts at Kitsap Credit Union, unless made within the last 15 days. All qualifying deposits must be new money and must remain on deposit through March 6, 2026.

Entry Limits: Regardless of number of qualifying products opened or number of branches visited, only one (1) entry per person, and one (1) entry per business will be granted.

Joint Accounts. One (1) entry per joint account, awarded to the primary account holder only.

Applications Alone Do Not Qualify. The account must be approved and opened and the qualifying deposit completed in‑branch; applications without completed deposits do not earn entries. All qualifying deposit actions must be completed in‑branch, online account openings or deposits do not qualify.

Deposit Retention. Qualifying deposit must remain in the account through March 6, 2026 to retain eligibility. KCU may verify that the qualifying action occurred and may disqualify fraudulent or ineligible entries.

3. Entry Deadline. Begins February 9, 2026 9:00 am and ends March 6, 2026 6:00 pm Pacific Time (PT). All qualifying deposit actions must be fully completed in-branch by March 6, 2026. Branch hours may vary by location. Kitsap Credit Union reserves the right to modify these dates and times.
4. Odds of Winning. Odds depend on the total number of eligible entries received for each drawing. KCU may disqualify entrants who tamper with the entry process and may modify or terminate the Promotion if it cannot be completed as planned. 
5. Prize Details
   1. Branch Prizes: Each participating branch will award two (2) “Love the Blue and Green” prizes consisting of Team Store electronic gift cards (e-card) valued at $212 each, representing the “jersey” prize.
   2. Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize of $1,212.12, awarded via deposit into the KCU savings account associated with the qualifying deposit account.

Grand Prize Eligibility. All entries (one per person or one per business) are automatically entered into the Grand Prize drawing. Opening multiple product types does not earn additional grand‑prize entries.

Entrants are eligible to win both a branch prize and the Grand Prize. All prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. No substitution permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion.

6. Winner Selection & Notification
   1. Selection Dates. Branch prize winners will be selected by random drawing on March 9, 2026 and Grand Prize winner will be selected on March 9, 2026.
   2. Notification. Winners will be notified by email or phone on March 10, 2026. If a selected winner does not respond within three (3) business days, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected.
7. Claiming the Prize. Branch prize e-card will be delivered electronically. A valid email address is required to receive the e-card. The e‑card will be sent to the email address associated with the primary member or business entity listed on the qualifying deposit account. Alternate email addresses will not be accepted for prize delivery. Grand Prize winner will receive the cash prize via deposit to their KCU savings account tied to the qualifying deposit account. Government-issued photo ID may be required.
8. Publicity & Marketing Consent. By entering, the winner consents to Kitsap Credit Union using their name and/or image for promotional, advertising, or other legitimate business purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. Photography of the winner may be used in Kitsap Credit Union materials.
9. Taxes. Winners are solely responsible for any taxes, fees, or other costs associated with accepting the prize. KCU is not responsible for any tax obligations incurred by winners. KCU may collect tax‑reporting information (including SSN) from the winner at the time of award.

11. General Conditions. Kitsap Credit Union further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the Promotion if it is not capable of completion as planned, including because of infection by tampering or unauthorized intervention.
