Meet Workforce Planning Coordinator, Jennifer
Meet Workforce Planning Coordinator, Jennifer, who has been on the Kitsap Credit Union team for the past five years. Her colleagues describe her as someone who always has the answers and is determined and hard working.
And these qualities have been reflected in her growth here at Kitsap Credit Union. Jennifer first started as Collector I five years ago and has worked her way up through our Accounts Control department to her current role as Workforce Planning Coordinator.
“The best part of my role is being able to help my teammates,” said Jennifer. “Most tasks I do are behind the scenes; tasks that people might not necessarily think of as something so hands on. When I can find ways to automate functions or streamline our processes, that is the best. I've also had the opportunity to work with other departments to map out processes that create efficiencies between departments. Finding that comradery between departments and streamlining functions that affects multiple areas is pretty fulfilling. And of course I have to mention the projects! I've been able to join in on a few different projects from the ground up, not just in my current role but in previous roles as well, and that is pretty amazing. Seeing something you helped create being used by the organization is a really good feeling.”
Jennifer’s manager, Aly, shared, “Jennifer is an incredible asset to the team—her ability to streamline operations, keep schedules running smoothly, and optimize workflows is making a real impact. Coordinating work schedules, handling time-off requests, and managing collection software requires precision and efficiency, and it’s clear she excels at it. Plus, giving Supervisors the ability to provide real-time feedback and coaching is a game-changer for team development and performance.”
Jennifer’s colleague, Rachel, shared, “Jen is always there to help or answer questions. She really works hard to come up with solutions with everyone in mind. She might be behind the scenes, but she makes everyone's job a little better with her hard work and determination”
When asked what her favorite part about working at Kitsap Credit Union is, Jennifer said, “The collaboration. Learning from different perspectives and supporting each other’s ideas goes a long way in creating a successful organization for our employees and our members.”
“I am so excited to see what the future holds for KCU,” said Jennifer. “As the May Sticker of the Month says - Let's reach the peak of our possible!”
