Meet Josh Bailey
Meet Josh Bailey, who has been a valued member of our IT team for the past two years. As a Help Desk Tier III specialist, Josh plays a critical role in keeping Kitsap Credit Union’s systems running smoothly. From troubleshooting complex technical issues to supporting team members across the organization, his work helps ensure our employees have the tools they need to serve members every day.
“There are many parts of my role that I really like,” said Josh. “I like working with all people, the investigative aspect of all the different problems we experience, but probably the most is gaining new knowledge that I can utilize to perform better and resolve more problems.” For Josh, no two days are the same. Each challenge is an opportunity to learn something new, refine his skills, and make a meaningful impact by finding solutions that keep teams moving forward.
Josh’s dedication and approachability don’t go unnoticed by his colleagues. “Josh has always been someone I can rely on when I'm having issues that I'm unable to solve myself,” shared a teammate. “He manages to find a way to express kindness and grace when assisting, no matter what the context of the situation is. He keeps things lighthearted even when he's unable to solve things right then and there—which doesn't happen often.” His ability to combine technical expertise with patience and empathy makes him a trusted resource across the organization.
When asked what he enjoys most about working at KCU, Josh points to the culture and the people. “My favorite part about KCU is the people. I work with some pretty amazing people and look forward to starting my day. In my previous jobs, I could not say the same thing.” That sense of connection and shared purpose is something Josh values deeply and brings into his daily work.
Outside of the office, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and diving into his passion for building custom computers. “My last few computers I have started using custom water loops,” he shared, combining creativity and technical skill in a hobby that mirrors his professional interests. Whether at work or at home, Josh’s curiosity and problem-solving mindset continue to drive him forward—and we’re grateful to have him on our team.
