Please join us in celebrating Erika Pierson’s 5-year anniversary at Kitsap Credit Union! Since joining KCU as a teller, Erika has grown into her role as an Assistant Branch Manager, leading with dedication and care. Her passion for supporting both her team and our members shines through in everything she does—from fostering team growth to giving back through the KCUCares Foundation initiatives. Erika’s commitment to making a positive impact in our community and helping others succeed truly reflects the heart of KCU. Thank you for five years of service, Erika—we’re so grateful to have you on the team!

We asked Erika a few questions about her time here at Kitsap Credit Union. Here’s what she shared:

When asked what brought her to Kitsap Credit Union, Erika shared that she was drawn to the organization’s strong commitment to both members and the community.

“From the beginning, it felt like an organization where people genuinely care—about each other, about doing the right thing, and about making an impact locally. That alignment with my values made it an easy decision to join.”

Erika began her journey at KCU as a teller, building a strong foundation in member service and operations. Over time, she grew into leadership and now serves as an Assistant Branch Manager, leading operations for base branches. Along the way, she has taken on additional responsibilities in operations, team development, and process improvement—experiences that have helped shape her growth.

Reflecting on her time at KCU, Erika shared that some of her favorite memories are tied to both her team and the credit union’s impact in the community.

“Watching team members grow and succeed has been incredibly rewarding, especially when you see their confidence build over time. I’ve also loved being part of the KCUCares Foundation's initiatives—those moments where we come together to support our community really highlight what makes KCU special. Playing for the KCU Softball team has also been incredibly fun!”

Erika also expressed her appreciation for the opportunities she’s had throughout her career.

“I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had over the past five years and the people I’ve gotten to work alongside. KCU has challenged me to grow both professionally and personally, and I’m excited to continue developing as a leader and contributing to the success of my team and our members.”

Happy 5 Years, Erika! Thank you for all you do to support our members, your team, and our community.
