Kitsap Credit Union had over 60 employees and children plus a few patriotic pooches celebrating the Armed Forces Parade in Bremerton in record high temperatures!
This year we had the Statue of Liberty and Uncle Sam as icons riding on the trailer. Thank you Michelle (Statue of Liberty) and Patrick (Uncle Sam) for braving the heat! Also the Ron-ster (CMO) and wife Peggy were the royalty extending the parade wave as only -ster's can do. I was so proud of our little troopers who waved their red, white and blue pinwheels and flags while smiling at the crowds. My favorite part was the crowd yelling "That's my Credit Union!".
Our mission statement was: "Honoring the American veterans who allow us to enjoy the FREEDOM to take part in this parade."
